An operation method of a speed control apparatus in a section of curve and gradient is provided to brake a train automatically through an ATS(Automatic Train Stopper) paper box, by checking the speed of the train entering into the curve and gradient section in advance, by using the ATS paper box. According to a method for operating a speed control apparatus in a section of curve and gradient, it is sensed that a train passed a warning point of a curve section. It is judged whether the train over speeds. When the train is judged to over speed, a speed control signal to control the speed of the train is transmitted to an on-board unit through a speed control paper box(500). When the over speeding train is braked, a speed restriction release signal is transmitted to the on-board unit through a paper box(600) for releasing speed restriction. |
