A welding unit structure of an aluminum air tank of a vehicle is provided to reduce the defective rate at the welding unit between a drum and a cover or the cover and another cover, to easily weld the structure by automating the procedure, and to improve welded strength. A welding unit structure of an aluminum air tank of a vehicle comprises a first base metal(10) formed like a cylindrical drum or a semispherical cover and made of aluminum or alloy; a second base metal(20) jointed with one end of the first base metal as a semispherical cover; a welding metal(30) jointing the first base metal with the second base metal by melting a joint(40) between the first and second base metals and filler material through arc heat; a fixing unit formed with a peak tightly contacted on the inner wall of the base metal at the front end as a puckered structure and a guide leading the peak to the inner wall of the base metal; and a welding metal receiving unit folded from the fixing unit in a V-type to be continued to the base metal body. The first and second base metals are combined by fitting the joint portion into the inner wall of the jointed base metal to fill the welding metal receiving unit with melted welding metal by welding the joint. |
