FIELD: metering liquid products, ophthalmic solution in particular. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed metering device for liquid product contained in reservoir provided with feeding nozzle has sectionalized body or framework for mechanism actuated due to application of pressure to actuating unit for suction of definite amount of liquid from reservoir through hole of metering chamber by means of plunger compressing the return spring followed by forcing the liquid into external space. This mechanism includes movable member which is swivel member or member performing advance motion under action of actuating member. Movable member remains in first position at the beginning of motion of actuating member or at rest of actuating member; then, control unit is acted on by plunger for filling the metering chamber with liquid and for compression of plunger return spring. At the end of motion, movable member comes to second position bringing the said metering chamber in communication with external space by means of the same hole, thus making it possible to suck liquid; when plunger return spring is released, liquid is forced out of metering chamber via through passage of body or framework. Other metering unit for liquid product has body or framework, reservoir for liquid provided with feeding nozzle which is stationary relative to body or framework, metering chamber with hole, mechanism for forcing liquid out of chamber through this hole and through passage for flowing of forced-out liquid in direction opposite to that of feeding nozzle or hole. Mechanism has movable member for moving relative to body or framework between first position when hole of metering chamber and feeding nozzle or hole are brought in communication and second position when hole of metering chamber and through passage are communicated in flow. Mechanism makes it possible to suck liquid through metering chamber hole when movable member is in first position and forcing the liquid out of metering chamber through its hole when movable member is in second position. Proposed method consists in connecting the hole and nozzle or hole for obtaining communication in flow, filling the metering chamber with liquid fed through hole, aligning the hole relative to through passage and forcing the liquid out of metering chamber through hole. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of metering the liquid, control of dynamic pressure of dose; enhanced sterility; ease in use. ^ 56 cl, 18 dwg |
