A lower casing for a gas meter is provided to remarkably shorten the production time of a product by a formation work by preventing loss of pressure due to flow of a gas. A lower casing for a gas meter includes a body(10) and a cover plate(20). The body includes a division section(11), a central through-hole(12), four communication sections(13), a discharge hole(14), and an opening passage(15). The cover plate has a valve seat(21) in which a central communication hole(211) and four outer communication holes(212) corresponding to the central through-hole and the communication section are formed. The cover plate is bonded to the upper surface of the division section so as to close an opened upper portion of the opening passage and to close an upper portion of the division section. |
