A method for compensating AD(ADvertisement) display is provided to receive and display the AD useful to a user, offer compensation like electronic money for the AD display, and enable the user to use the electronic money for an electricity charge. An AD server transmits AD data to a refrigerator through the network(S42). The refrigerator displays the AD data to the user through a display tool(S43). The refrigerator transmits display result data of the AD data to the AD server(S44). The AD server accumulates the electronic money to the user of the refrigerator according to the display result data(S45). The AD server transmits the accumulated electronic money information to an electricity company server through the network. The electricity company server offsets the electric charge of the user according to the electronic money information(S46).
