A method and a device for a use right transfer service based on DRM(Digital Rights Management) are provided to transfer a use right stored in a use right box of a sender terminal to a receiver terminal by using the DRM-based communication network. A use right receiver receives use right transfer information from the sender terminal through a DRM server. An authentication information receiver receives authentication information from the DRM server based on the use right transfer information. A transfer information receiver receives transfer processing information from the DRM server based on the use right transfer information. A transfer processor transfers the use right based on the transfer processing information. A transmitter transmits a transfer text message to the receiver terminal based on the transferred use right. A callback signal receiver receives a callback signal from a mobile terminal. A use right transmitter transmits the transferred use right to the mobile terminal by using a channel formed according to the callback signal.
