The device has a handle (5) provided with a rod fixation unit (8) e.g. thread, at one end. A sensor unit (3) e.g. thermo couple, is arranged in the unit (8) and connected to an electric connection wire (4) that passes through the handle. The unit (3) has a fixation unit (2) e.g. thread, for fixing a wire passage system (6) e.g. cable gland, that permits to take out the electric connection wire. The unit (2) is fixed in a tube of the rod (7) by utilizing a sealing material, so as to form a detachable measurement unit of the rod. An end of the wire is stripped or has an electric connector.
