A method for transferring label on fabric surface using transfer paper is provided to decrease more than one step in manual printing process, to reduce manufacturing time of transfer paper, to elevate productivity and working efficiency, to give an excellent appearance of transferred label by solving problems with adhesive layer exposure on the outer line of label pattern. The method for transferring label on fabric surface using transfer paper includes: a transfer paper forming step that partially releasable coloring layer(20) comprising urethane resin and pigment mixture is applied on the releasing material layer(30) of sheet(40); a printing step that adhesive is printed according to the shape of letter or pattern, and an adhesive layer(10) is formed; a cutting step that the adhesive printed transfer paper(1) is cut according to a desired unit transfer region; a heating step that the tailored transfer paper is attached on a desired position on fabric surface and heated; and a releasing step that the coloring layer(20) is released from the transfer paper(1) and combined with the fabric surface by the adhesive layer(10).
