A method for manufacturing synthetic cotton and fiber with the light-storage characteristics is provided to maintain the afterglow time above 1 hour. At a light-storage material pulverizing process, the dried light storage material and a volatile solvent are mixed and pulverized by the wet type. The pulverized material is injected into a precipitation type division feed processing tank and the floating materials are removed, so that the pulverized particles of 0.2 to 0.3 micrometer are collected. The light storage pulverized particles with 5 to 20 weight % dried from the collected pulverized particles are mixed with a synthetic resin chip of 80 to 95 weight %.
