A scissors arm type of scum skimmer which can be installed at a settling pond as well as a reactor, smoothly removes scum in a long distance, and rakes up scum by maintaining a predetermined depth from the surface of the water when removing scum is provided. A scissors arm type of scum skimmer comprises: a bracket(1) installed on an upper portion of a settling pond or a reactor; a main arm(2) clamped to the bracket by a pin(3); an auxiliary arm(4) clamped to the main arm by a pin(5); a scraping arm(6) clamped to the auxiliary arm by a pin(7); a rod(8) for connecting the main arm and the scraping arm; a scraper(9) clamped to the scraping arm by a pin(10); an electric motor(12) and a wire rope drum that are installed on the bracket; and wire ropes(15,16) respectively connected to the main arm and the auxiliary arm. |
