Provided is a kimchi refrigerator including a shielding cover plate for a kimchi container that functioning like outer leaves of cabbages and inhibits kimchi from being in direct contact with air. The kimchi refrigerator comprises: a main body; a storage chamber formed in the main body and having an inner space; a kimchi container(50) received in the storage chamber; and a shielding cover plate(60) lodged inside the kimchi container, wherein the kimchi container has the first protrusion formed on one lateral side thereof, and the shielding cover plate has the second protrusion(61) engaged with the first protrusion and is provided with a handle formed at the remaining side.
