A support device for fishing is provided to strongly hold a fishing rod by a grip member when the fishing rod is inserted into a support holder of the support device integrally combined to the waist belt. The support device for fishing is composed of a connecting support unit(10) supporting a fishing rod(2) to the human body by integrally fitting a coupler(11) formed at one side, to a waist belt(1); an angle adjusting tool(20) fitted to a shaft rod(13) of the connecting support unit to selectively adjust the rotational angle according to the operation of a locking member(30); the locking member thread-combined to the front end of the shaft rod to keep a firm fixed state by closely holding the angle adjusting tool; and a support holder(50) joined to the upper end of the angle regulating tool to support the fishing rod by strongly holding both sides of the fishing rod fitted into an insertion unit(51).
