Provided is food having a stress-relieving effect, which stimulates restoration of a physical condition deteriorated by stress, and contributes to health promotion. The food comprises tortoiseshell powder and vitamin E powder in a weight ratio of 20:1 to 30:1. In the food, the tortoiseshell powder is obtained by steaming tortoiseshells, drying them at the shade and pulverizing the dried tortoise shells to provide powder. Otherwise, the tortoiseshell powder is obtained by hydrothermally treating tortoiseshells, drying the treated tortoiseshells, firing them at high temperature, and pulverizing the fired product. |
