A plasma display device and a driving method thereof are provided to stably drive the plasma display device by differently setting voltages applied to address electrodes during a sustain period, according to the temperature of a plasma display panel. A plasma display device includes a plasma display panel(100) having plural first, second, and third electrodes; a temperature sensing unit(600) detecting the temperature of the plasma display panel; driving units(300,400,500) executing sustain discharge between the first and second electrodes by applying sustain discharge pulse to at least one of the first and second electrodes during a sustain period; and a control unit(200) controlling the driving unit to differently set the voltage of the third electrode according to the temperature of the plasma display panel during a first section of the sustain period.
