A stator of a linear motor is provided to reduce a number of parts and manufacturing processes by assembling a plurality of outer cores with a coupling ring. In a stator of a linear motor, an outer core(110) is formed by laminating a plurality of outer core blocks(112,114) in a length direction. A coil(130) is placed at the outer core(110). At least more than one coupling ring placed between the plurality of outer core blocks(112,114) is combined with the outer core blocks(112,114).
