A MOTOR ASSEMBLY AND A VACUUM CLEANER HAVING THE SAME

A motor assembly and a vacuum cleaner equipped with the same are provided to cut down expenses by simplifying structure of the motor assembly, and to reduce noise by changing flow of air through a first air passage and a second air passage. A motor assembly includes a suction motor(20) having a motor body part(20a) and a motor blade part(20b), an inner motor case(110) surrounding part of the suction motor, and an outer motor case(120) surrounding part of the inner motor case. Flow of air is changed by flowing air from the suction motor to the inner motor case and the outer motor case. The difference between the angle of air flowing through a first air passage(P1) between the suction motor and the inner motor case and the angle of air flowing through a second air passage(P2) between the inner motor case and the outer motor case is 90 to 180 angular degrees.
