<p>A gearbox system with epicycloidal gears (EG's), having coaxial input and output elements (2, 3), two EG's (4, 5) and five clutches for obtaining multiple transmission ratios, also has a multiplication EG (6) for obtaining at least two additional gears. The multiplication EG has a satellite holder (18) permanently connected to the input and a crown wheel (20) permanently connected to the input gear (4). Each clutch acts between an element of an EG and an earth, inlet or outlet element or another element of the EG's.
