PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head which is excellent in the ink resistance and adhesion reliability of a joint even if an adhesive is cured at a relatively low temperature, and a manufacturing method for the liquid ejection head. SOLUTION: In the liquid ejection head, a supporting member (plate H1200) and an element substrate H1100 provided with an ejection port and a supply port are joined together with the adhesive H1202. The adhesive H1202 contains an epoxy resin (A), a curing agent (B), and a mercaptosilane coupler (C). The component (A) contains a polyfunctional epoxy resin with an epoxy equivalent of 150 or less and the content of the component (C) in the adhesive is in the range of 2 to 10 wt.% to that of the component (A). The manufacturing method for the liquid ejection head comprises steps of: applying the adhesive H1202 to either or both of jointing surfaces of both the members; aligning both of the members with each other; and joining both the members together by mutually heating and pressing both the members, and curing the adhesive.
