METHOD FOR DRIVING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND APPARATUS THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving liquid crystal display device and an apparatus thereof capable of obtaining an optimum response time automatically when the temperature of the liquid crystal is changed. SOLUTION: The method for driving liquid crystal display device comprises: a process of supplying a liquid crystal driving signal to a liquid crystal display panel; a process of adjusting a variable voltage level of the liquid crystal driving signal until the response property of the liquid crystal display panel which responds to the liquid crystal driving signal attains a prescribed level; a process of setting the variable voltage level to a modulated data so that the response property reaches the prescribed level; and a process of detecting the optimum modulated data at every temperature by repeating such a modulated data detection procedure at every temperature. By utilizing the optimum modulated data at every temperature thus obtained, the method for driving liquid crystal display device and the apparatus thereof is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
