PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology whereby only an image that a user intends is displayed on a projector and the configuration of the projector can be made simple. SOLUTION: An image supply apparatus includes: a distortion correction information capturing section 132 by which distortion correction information for correcting a distortion of an image displayed on a projection screen by the projector PJ is captured from the projector; and an image processing section by which, following an instruction from an application program, a target image including at least one part selected by a user from an original image prepared by the application program is subjected to a distortion correction process that uses the distortion correction information, and thus a processed image is formed; and an image supply section 136 that supplies the processed image to the projector.
