The invention proceeds from a process for producing a magnetic element (10) for an electric machine, in particular a claw pole generator, the element (10) being subjected after a shaping process to a subsequent thermal treatment. It is proposed to apply the thermal treatment by electromagnetic induction. Also disclosed is a device for carrying out the process.
