APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING WATER LEVEL OF COOKER WITH STEAM GENERATION DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

A water level control device of a cooker with a steam generator and a method thereof are provided to regulate the water level of the steam generator precisely and stably by restricting damage against shock, and to cut down manufacturing cost by controlling the water level according to temperature difference with two temperature sensors. A key signal is input into a control unit through a signal input unit by pressing a starting key after selecting cooking information by a user(S100), and water is supplied through a water supply pipe to a steam container by turning on a feed valve(S110). Two temperature sensors measure and input temperature according to water level of the steam container to the control unit(S120). The control unit calculates temperature difference from two temperature sensors, and compares the calculated temperature difference with the reference value(S130,S140). The control unit shuts off water supplied to the steam container by turning off the feed valve in case of the temperature difference to be less than the reference value(S150), and drives a steam heater in sufficiently supplying water to the steam container(S160). Saturated steam is discharged radially by a circulation fan, and superheated steam is supplied into a cooling chamber through outlets of a side plate(S170).
