PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer container, wherein the viscosity of developer can be measured by decreasing the number of members disposed in the developer. SOLUTION: The liquid developer container includes a holding container in which the developer is held; a stirring means that stirs the liquid developer by rotating; a driving means that supplies rotating force to the stirring means; and a time measuring means that measures time needed for the stirring means until stopping its rotation, after the supply of the rotating force by the drive means has been stopped, wherein the viscosity of the developer is determined from the time measured by the time measuring means.
