摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an detecting device of electrode dirt of an electromagnetic flowmeter capable of detecting dirt anomaly of electrode indirectly, by projecting measuring light into a measuring tube from an inlet window prepared close to the electrode and by measuring the outgoing measuring light from an outlet window to detect dirty condition of the inlet window based on the measured value. SOLUTION: An inlet window 11 is installed close to an electrode 5a so as to expose its internal surface into a measuring tube 1, whereas an outlet window 12 is installed so as to expose its internal surface into the measuring tube and to face to the inlet window 11. Also, the measuring light emitted from a light-emitting semiconductor element enters into the measuring tube 1 from the internal surface of inlet window 11, passes through the measured fluid 4, leaves from the internal surface of outlet window 12, and is received at a light-sensitive element 14. A microcomputer 16 fetches-in the output from the light-sensitive element 14 and compares with a judging criterion of dirt to discriminate dirt anomaly of the electrode indirectly. Finally, when the fetched-in output becomes smaller than the judging criterion of dirt, the advent of cleaning time is notified, sounding a buzzer 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
