The blade has a cavity defined by an end wall and a rim that extends between leading and trailing edges along a suction side wall. Cooling channels (32) connecting an internal cooling passage and an outside face of a pressure side wall are inclined relative to the pressure wall. The pressure wall presents a projecting end portion whose outside face is inclined relative to the outside face of the pressure wall. A tip of the end portion lies in an outside face (26b) of the end wall such that the channels open out into the pressure wall in front of the cavity.
