PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and effectively extinguish a fire. SOLUTION: This fire extinguisher is provided with a sprinkler head comprising a sprinkler part to disperse fire extinguishing agent supplied from a water discharge port, a valve element that is normally closed to prohibit supply of the fire extinguishing agent to the sprinkler part, and a heat-sensitive part to support the valve element in a normally opened state and to open the valve element by sensing heat at the time of a fire. The heat-sensitive part is separated from the water discharge port, and provided apart on its upstream side. When the valve element is opened, a valve rod part of the valve element is guided to move. The guide is fixed in a main body as the heat-sensitive part in the form of a sprinkler head is fastened to an installation port.
