PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling water apparatus capable of making the maintenance easier and the service life longer by suppressing the generation of copper oxide inside a copper tube. SOLUTION: The cooling water system composed of the cooling water apparatus 1 is a cooling means for an induction heating device 2 comprising a heating coil, an iron core, and so on and is provided with an ion-exchange part 6 for circulating cooling water from the downstream side of a pump 5 to a purified water tank 4. The ion-exchange part 6 for removing a dissolved copper ion from the cooling water in the copper tube of the cooling water system comprises two same groups of devices in parallel each of which has pre-filters 6a, 6a', ion exchange devices 6b, 6b', and post-filters 6c, 6c' in this order from the upstream side.
