PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine where a bearing can efficiently be cooled. SOLUTION: The totally enclosed rotating electric machine is provided with a stator core, a rotor core arranged on an inner peripheral side of the stator core, a bracket connected to one end of the stator core, a first bearing disposed through the bracket, a frame and a housing which are connected to the other end of the stator core, a second bearing disposed through the housing, a ventilation fan which is arranged between the rotor core and the second bearing and whose shuttlecock is installed on an outer side of an axial direction, a rotor shaft which is freely rotatably supported by the first bearing and the second bearing, an inlet arranged in the frame or the housing, and an exhaust port installed in the frame or the housing.
