PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic photographing device capable of taking a close-up photograph and a full-length portrait of a user under sufficient luminous intensity. SOLUTION: The automatic photographing device is equipped with a housing having at least one photographing means, and a photographing booth for receiving the user and having fixed depth in a direction where it is separated from the housing. In the device, a first illumination means for illuminating a part in front of a middle position in the photographing booth and a second illumination means for illuminating a part at the rear of the middle position in the photographing booth are arranged at the middle position in the depth direction of the photographing booth.
