<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair grower containing Acer palmatum extract, and to provide hair cosmetics each compounded with the hair grower. <P>SOLUTION: The hair grower comprises the extract of Acer palmatum as a subtall deciduous tree belonging to Aceraceae plant family. As a preferable embodiment of this hair grower, it has testosterone 5α-reductase inhibitory activity.
