<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method of hydroxyapatite and a silicone resin capable of strongly and stably joining hydroxyapatite having good biocompatibility and the silicone resin, and also to provide a composite obtained by this joining method. <P>SOLUTION: The joining surface of a hydroxyapatite base material is treated with a silane coupling agent to be modified with an NH<SB>2</SB>group while the joining surface of a silicone resin base material is treated with acrylic acid to be modified with a COOH group.
