PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing plate using a pressure vessel such as a battery or a capacitor, wherein a mutual joining strength of constituent components can be raised such as a sealing plate main body, a rivet part, and an external terminal. SOLUTION: In the sealing plate with a terminal, the sealing plate is joined and fixed to the external terminal having a through-hole via a rivet. The external terminal has a projection provided in a margin of the through-hole on its inside end face, and when the rivet is inserted into the through-hole of the external terminal, the rivet is provided with a step in a side part so as to abut on the projection of the external terminal. The rivet is inserted into the sealing plate so as to pinch the external terminal for pressurization and welding, whereby the external terminal is fixed to the sealing plate.
