摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem peculiar to an optical disk that a large measurement error is generated by a surface damage and the like and jitter characteristics are changed when reproducing signal jitter is minimized by using a waveform equalizing filter in the optical disk device.

SOLUTION: A minimum value searching means 71 searches both a focal position and an equalizing amount that minimize the amount of jitter using the amount of jitter measured by a jitter measuring means 6. An optical head is previously positioned in a position in the vicinity of a protrusion part provided on the inner periphery of the optical disk and measurement of jitter is executed.
