PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which has simple constitution and is equipped with a flexible printed wiring board adaptive to the extension of a lens barrel. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes the flexible printed wiring board to connect lens barrel side electric components arranged at the moving part of the lens barrel to main body side electric components arranged in an imaging apparatus body. The flexible printed wiring board is provided with; a first bent part constituted by being drawn out by predetermined length from a connection part with the lens barrel side electric component to the direction of the imaging apparatus body nearly in parallel to an optical axis and nearly orthogonally to the optical axis, and further being bent to the center direction of the optical axis from the side edge of the lens barrel; a folded-back part constituted by being bent at about 180°to the side edge of the lens barrel at a position predetermined length way from the first bent part and being fixed; a second bent part constituted by being bent to the direction of the imaging apparatus body nearly in parallel to the optical axis at a position predetermined length away from the folded-back part; and a third bent part constituted by being curved in U-shape to the direction of a subject nearly in parallel to the optical axis at a position predetermined length away from the second bent part.
