PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effects for improving work efficiency and appearance by fixing adjacent flooring materials on a floor joist member by letting side faces forming channels oppose mutually. SOLUTION: This fastener 1 for connecting and fixing adjacent flooring materials 9 on the floor joist member 8 by forming the channel 6c on any side face of the flooring materials 9 provided on the floor joist members 8 arranged substantially in parallel and being apart from each other and letting the side faces forming the channel 6c oppose mutually is provided with lateral projections 2a, 2b fitted into the channels 6c formed on the side faces of adjacent flooring materials 9, leg parts extending downward from central parts of the lateral projections 2a, 2b, a head part protruding toward a part above the leg part, and a nail hole passing through in the oblique direction from an upper part in a central part in the longitudinal direction of a connection device toward the leg part.
