PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry out temporary support of a rafter to a horizontal member and to easily carry out final fixing by screw fastening. SOLUTION: A fixing metal fitting 2 is fitted to the rafter 1, and loose fitting recesses 3 are provided recessively in a ridge direction from the eaves side ends of parts, projected downward from the rafter 1, of the fixing metal fitting 2. The upper edge parts of the loose fitting recesses 3 are formed as upper clamping parts 4. A movable fitting 5 is mounted in a vertically movable manner to the fixing metal fitting 2 by a screw 6. Clamping projecting pieces 8 with the upper edges formed as lower clamping parts 7 are provided protrusively from the eaves side end of the movable fitting 5. In the state of placing the rafter 1 on the eaves side end of an upper flange 10 of the horizontal member 9 formed of a roof beam 9a or a purlin 9b, the loose fitting recesses 3 of the fixing metal fitting 2 are fitted in a loosely fitted state to the ridge side end of the upper flange 10 to place the upper clamping parts 4 on the upper face of the ridge side end of the upper flange 10, and the screw 6 is screwed to bring the lower clamping parts 7 into pressure contact with the ridge side end lower face of the upper flange 10.
