PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a malfunction which occurs due to an abnormality during the polishing of game medium. SOLUTION: A recovery pipe 13 is connected to the lower portion of a drainboard portion 10b through a hopper 12. A first proximity switch 17 is arranged on the upper portion of the recovery pipe 13. The first proximity switch 17 detects the presence of polishing materials 18 passing (falling) and supplies the detection signal to a controller 6 in a normal condition. A second proximity switch 19 is arranged in a polishing material storage tank 14. The second proximity switch 19 always detect polishing materials 18 stored and supplies the detection signals to the controller 6. The controller 6 controls the rotation of springs 2 and 7 through motors 4 and 9 on the basis of signals from the switches 17 and 19. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
