A flat clip applicator for the application of flat clips on the edge of an object, in particular paper stack, including a housing device, a receiving device in the housing device for the receiving of a stack of flat clips, a movable sliding device, moving transverse to the longitudinal axis of the clip stack, for the push-off of a flat clip from the clip stack, and a spreading device to spread the flat clips in such a manner that the clips are spread to a degree permitting the flat clips to be attached on the edge of the object. The sliding device comprises a ram element which is designed in such a manner that the sliding device is movable along a first separation path, for the application of a clip through the engaging of the clip in the clip push-on direction, and further push-on of the flat clip is accomplished by the application of the ram element, in the framework of which the flat clip is pushed off and applied to the edge of the object. |
