<p>Coat for light source, preferably fluorescent tubes, is obtained from a polymer material composition of tetrafluoroethyleneprefluoride exhibiting an effective filtering of UV wavelengths at less than 370 nm and high transparency in the visible spectrum at 400-800 nm; where the coat has: a layer with a thickness of 100-400 mu m; a transmission barrier for light at less than 370 nm; and a transmission for light in visible light at 380 nm, 560 nm, 680 nm, 800 nm is 0-40%, 50-100%, 60-100% and 70-100%, respectively. Coat for light source, preferably fluorescent tubes (which exhibits a emitted radiation with a UV content of at least 2% and maximum surface temperature of 100-150[deg]C), is obtained from a polymer material composition of tetrafluoroethyleneprefluoride exhibiting an effective filtering of UV wavelengths at less than 370 nm and high transparency in the visible spectrum at 400-800 nm; where: the composition comprises at least a partially crystalline fluorine polymer (A) (9699.5 wt.%) and at least a component (B) (0.5-4), which interacts with a radiation of 200-370 nm; the coat has: a layer with a thickness of 100-400 mu m; a transmission barrier for light at less than 370 nm; a transmission for light in visible light at 380 nm, 560 nm, 680 nm, 800 nm is 0-40%, 50-100%, 60-100% and 70-100%, respectively; no discoloration or loss of transparency in visible light at 135-150[deg]C for 20,000 hours; and no loss in mechanical firmness or UV absorptive capacity at less than 370 nm, by a real time test of light source and/or fluorescent tube with a surface temperature of at least 135[deg]C for 2000 hours. An independent claim is included for a light source, preferably fluorescent tube comprising the coat.</p> |
