PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-type photoelectric sensor which minimizes actual occupancy width per channel, when equipped with a plurality of the sensors. SOLUTION: The fiber-type photoelectric sensor is provided with two sets of projector circuit and receiver circuit associated with first and second detection channels, respectively; a single CPU conducting detection operation of the two detection channels through time sharing; two output lines associated with the two sensing channels; four fiber slots arranged vertically in front so as to allow lower duplicate to be a pair of projector/receiver circuits for the first detection channel and upper duplicate to be a pair of projector/receiver circuits for the second detection channel and first/second numerical display sections lined up longitudinally on top of a case, each of which can arrange plural digit numbers in the longitudinal direction of the case to be displayed. The sensor is structured such that light quantity received by the first detection channel is displayed on the first numerical display section, and light quantity received by the second detection channel is displayed on the second numerical display section, respectively.
