It is possible to provide a tree-type network system in which each node device is optimally arranged, a node device in the system, an information distribution method, and others. The tree-type network system includes an information distribution device, a plurality of node devices for receiving distributed information, and a management device fore receiving participation request information indicating a participation request transmitted from a node device when participating in the system. A plurality of node devices form a plurality of hierarchies with the information distribution device as the uppermost node and are connected via communication paths in a tree shape. In the system where distribution information is successively transferred from a node device of an upper hierarchy to a node device of a lower hierarchy, the management device includes: means for acquiring attribute information on the node device which has transmitted participation request information and deciding the device information as the connection destination candidate information according tot he acquired attribute information upon reception of participation request information requesting for device information on the node device as the connection candidate from the node device participating in the system; and means for transmitting the decided connection destination candidate information to the node device which has transmitted the participation request information.
