PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of surely securing proper thickness of a seat cushion even in the case of providing an air bag device in the seat cushion to prevent the submarine phenomenon.

SOLUTION: This vehicle seat is provided with the air bag device 40 having a function for lifting a front part of the seat cushion 20 under the seat cushion 20 to prevent a forward slip of an occupant sitting on the seat 10 when a head-on collision occurs. Adjuster rails 31 and 32 for a slide mechanism 30 are arranged under the seat cushion 20 on both sides, and the air bag device 40 is formed in a size possible to be installed between the adjuster rails 31 and 32 arranged on both the sides. The air bag device 40 is arranged to be suspended by a suspension wire 43 suspended from a wire frame 21 of the seat cushion 20 at a position higher than the height of both the adjuster rails 31 and 32 arranged.
