<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device capable of preventing slip-off of an air bag cover from a case while improving installation work efficiency for attaching the air bag cover to the case. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag device M is provided with the case 9 for housing an air bag 3 and the air bag cover 22 for covering the folded air bag 3. When attaching the air bag cover 22 to the case 9, first, the case 9 is rocked in relation to an opposite wall part 30 provided with a lateral hole 31 around the vicinity of the lateral hole 31, and while a vertical piece 16 of a lock leg 14 is inserted into the lateral hole 31 from inside the wall part 30, and projected from the lateral hole 31 to lock the lock leg 14 with the wall part 30. Thereafter, the case 9 is moved in the vertical direction and the lateral direction toward a tip side of an opposite wall part 36 provided with a through hole 37, and a vertical piece part 20 is inserted into a vertical insert part 37a and a lateral insert part 37b of the through hole 37 from inside the wall part 36 to lock a lock leg 18 with the wall part 36, and the cover 22 is thereby attached to the case 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
