<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device for a vehicle capable of reducing load applied to a brake mechanism even if a driver strongly steps on the brake pedal at stopping of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A hydraulic brake device is provided with a liquid pressure generation source for accumulating a pressure while maintaining a liquid pressure within a predetermined range; and a pressure adjustment valve for adjusting the liquid pressure accumulated in the liquid pressure generation source to the liquid pressure according to the driver's brake operation of the driver. Further, a control device 37 of the hydraulic brake device is provided with a vehicle stopping state determination means 37B for determining whether or not the vehicle is in the vehicle stopping state based on a signal detected by a vehicle speed sensor CS; a solenoid valve control means 37D for opening/closing-controlling a second solenoid opening/closing valve 36 so as to reduce the liquid pressure outputted from the pressure adjustment vale to a target pressure set to a lower degree than the predetermined range when it is determined that the vehicle is in the vehicle stopping state by the vehicle stopping state determination means 37B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
