The device has a feeder line (10) accommodating a capillary working device as a conveyance for the scent (8) associated with each air flow channel of a heating and ventilating system or an air conditioning system with separate and in particular also separately adjustable air flow channels (4) emanating from a storage vessel (7) for driver and front seat passenger regions. The feeder line has discharge openings and is adjustable in respect of the discharge openings for the scent by means of a closure mechanism.
