AN ENVELOPER

An enveloper is provided to control the speeds of various conveyors by using a servomotor. An enveloper includes an anvil(29) and includes a rotatable cutting and folding roller(28) applied to a cutting and folding material supplied through the enveloper and having a folding blade and a cutting blade. The enveloper forms a material package around a battery plate. A control element varies the rotational speed of the roller during the rotation cycle to position the folds forming a symmetrical package around a plate passed through the enveloper.
