An electrodeless discharge lamp is provided to uniform distribution of temperature in a resonator by installing a bulb in the resonator coated with a conductive material, thereby maintaining stability of the bulb. An electrodeless discharge lamp includes a magnetron(12) generating an electromagnetic wave, a resonator(15) having a sealed space in which the electromagnetic wave is resonated, and a bulb installed in the resonator and having a sealant excited by the electromagnetic wave to emit visible rays. The resonator is coated with a conductive material to shield the electromagnetic wave and pass light, except for a portion communicating with the magnetron.
