PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply mechanism preventing liquid from leaking from a storage container storing liquid when setting, and appliable to various situations at home. SOLUTION: This liquid supply mechanism is composed of the storage container storing liquid and having an opening part, a liquid receiving container which is set with a supply port connecting to the opening part of the storage container and opening upward, a holding part temporarily saving liquid flowing from the supply port and a supply means supplying liquid from the holding part to the outside, and a connecting mechanism connecting the storage container with the liquid receiving container so as to enable liquid to circulate. The connecting mechanism is composed of a valve body fastened to the opening part and liftable upward and a projecting part lifting the valve body. The holding part of the liquid receiving container is formed in a closed-tube form, and the supply means is an opening part which is formed on the holding part bottom and set with a flow control mechanism controlling flow and stoppage of liquid in the holding part.
