PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form support mechanism which can extremely easily adjust the installation location and the shape of a floor slab, and enables floor slab placement in a short time and at a low cost, and to provide a placing method. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the form support mechanism, support members 10, 11 are arranged on both sides of a main girder, and beam members 14, 15 extending in a direction that crosses the main girder have one-side ends thereof connected to the main girder and the other-side ends thereof supported by the support member 10, 11. Then a beam holding means 50 for holding the beam member to the main girder is formed of a hanger 51 attached to a web plate of the main girder, a holding portion 56 supported by the hanger 51 rotatably in a direction perpendicular to the hanger, and holding the beam member, and an angle adjusting means 70 maintaining the holding portion 56 in a manner inclining at a desired angle with respect to the hanger. The hanger 51 has a plurality of support portions formed therein each of which functions to support the holding portion 56 at a vertically desired location, and then one of the support members is alternatively selected to support the holding portion 56.
