PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning type working machine capable of facilitating the maintenance work such as the cleaning/replacement or the like of a suction filter of a hydraulic pump of the turning type working machine. SOLUTION: The turning type working machine is equipped with a lower traveling body, an upper turning body mounted to the lower traveling body in a turnable manner, a hydraulic oil tank (12) installed in the upper turning body, a hydraulic pump (14) sucking and discharging the oil of the hydraulic oil tank (12), a suction filter (18) provided to a pump suction pipe line (16) connecting the hydraulic pump (14) to the hydraulic oil tank (12) and an opening and closing valve (20) provided to the suction pipe line (16) between the suction filter (18) and the hydraulic oil tank (12).
